I had to watch Interviews with Herzog and the producers after watching this, cause I was kind of left like "what did I just watch". I kind of like the movie, but now after thinking about it, it is just a movie about a person that went mad. There is not much more to it.
I recommend it though to anybody who likes movies that are different and are not easily bored.
Movie was really good, surprisingly funny for a 70 year old movie. It's about a boxer who dies in error 50 years before he's supposed to and on his way to heaven they realize the mistake and he gets to choose to get another chance but in another body. It's a rather amusing process and the main character is very witty.
I give it a 7.5/10, worth the watch if you stumble on it on TV or whatever.
I checked out Taxi Driver on the weekend. What a weird movie.....De Niro was fantastic as usual....but its an all around weird movie, especially the ending. The best part, besides De Niro, is all the sweet guns and Peter Boyle

It was remade as Heaven Can Wait (1978), and Down to Earth (2001) (sharing the name with the sequel to Here Comes Mr. Jordan). It was also remade in India as Jhuk Gaya Aasman (1968). This film and its remake version inspired the tv series Quantum Leap, that ran on NBC from March 1989 to May 1993.
Thought the movie was really good. Jeff Bridges was outstanding! It has a very similar premise to The Wrestler, but is nonetheless good. Really glad Bridges won the best actor oscar for this role.
Tales From The Darkside Movie
7/10
it was pretty corny, but funny. it also confirmed that every stephen king horror story has a fucking retarded ending.
I enjoyed it. I like that they didnt spend much time on the illness's themselves, but the people in general. I like that kid in United States of Tara, and he was even better in this.
