While in Seattle, X-Raided linked up with Sincere Lee B, Salaysia, and Mistah Rain of Pyramid Music Group for “My Motivation,” a song about the value of focusing on what really matters in life. Produced by frequent collaborator Tony Rozay, on “My Motivation” X-Raided encourages the listener to inspire others, raise their children and save their money, at one point rapping, “Find yourself in prison or the grave/ What then? Fuck the court house, fuck county jails and fuck pens.” A legendary gangsta rapper who came home from prison advocating for mental elevation. It doesn’t get any realer than that.
