Waka Flocka Flame’s management is being forced to pay $501,000 to a man who was injured during a 2011 shootout in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mizay Entertainment was sued by Antonio Stukes after being shot during the melee by security guards. Stukes was hit in the shoulder.
He is currently incarcerated for robbery charges, but was awarded compensatory and punitive damages. “The jury came down in our favor and really hit them hard,” said his lawyer, Adam Seifer. “The facts that were in the evidence showed they essentially shot at my client without provocation.”
Due to witnesses being unable to identify the shooters, prosecutors dropped charges against six men who were arrested after the incident.
