Two months after hitting 500,000 plays on Spotify with “Day and Nite,” Toronto’s own Kennedy Rd. is back to the music, leaning more towards the bad part of relationships unlike her previous releases. On “You Know I Know,” Kennedy explores the grey area in a relationship where it can start leaning towards a breakup, but love is keeping things afloat by a thread. While she hasn’t collaborated with any other artist as of now, 11:11 marks the first and provides the male perspective on the darker record, giving both sides of the trust issues and problems a couple could have.
