The Game recently announced that his seventh solo album, The Documentary 2, will be released this June. The title hearkens back to his 2005 debut, which featured a murderer’s row of producers; Timbaland, Just Blaze, Havoc, Kanye West contributed, as did of-the-moment stars like Scott Storch and Cool & Dre. And it was Dr. Dre himself who helmed the project, serving as executive producer and orchestrating Game’s inclusion in 50 Cent’s G-Unit empire. The latter rapper recently spoke with XXL about his role in crafting The Documentary.
According to law enforcement sources, The Game got into an argument with this man during the game, threatened to kill him, punched him in the face and fled. The man filed charges and police are now investigating the case as a battery. Stay tuned for updates.
