No cause of death has been officially stated. But the unfortunate news of Ghetto-E’s death was confirmed by Bootleg of the Dayton Family via social media. The Dayton Family greatly influenced underground hip-hop with their top-tier gangster rap flows and instant classic LP’s such as ‘What’s On My Mind’, ‘F.B.I.’, ‘Welcome to the Dopehouse’, ‘Family Feud’, ‘Charges of Indictment’, etc While Ghetto-E’s solo LP ‘Ghetto Theater’ will always be bumped amongst underground hip-hop fans worldwide!
A pubic viewing in honor of Ghetto E’s life and legacy will be held at Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. With the funeral service commencing at 11:00 am. Interment, Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the chapel 10:30 AM Saturday, June 17, 2023. Mr. Dorsey will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home and may be viewed from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Friday, June 16, 2023.
