“Money Ova Bitches”, the major indie debut from buzzing New Orleans rapper OG Penguin, has been picked up by Select-O-Hits for national distribution to retail chains on June 3rd.
“Money Ova Bitches” will be available from the legendary Memphis-based distributor this summer, whose catalog includes independent releases by 8Ball & MJG, Three Six Mafia, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, and UGK.
“I’m very excited to have Select-O-Hits pick up my CD,” says Penguin Music Group CEO OG Penguin of the deal.
“Money Ova Bitches” is a 12-track LP packed with raw rhymes and crisp, soulful production. OG Penguin is not one to hide behind, or need a bunch of featured artists either; and to prove it — there are none on the LP. Instead, he punches his weight throughout the new LP taking on New Orleans violence, hustling in the streets, and even revealing his own story. The production is crisp, with a variety of sounds to keep heads nodding.
