TMZ has reported that Ross was formally indicted on Monday but his attorney is arguing that there is not enough evidence to prosecute the rapper. Steve Sadow, who is representing Rozay in court, thinks that his client should be immune from being criminal prosecution because the groundskeeper was committing a crime on the Rick Ross property.
Prosecutors don’t believe that gave Rozay any right to kidnap and beat his groundskeeper.
According to Rick Ross, his groundskeeper Jonathan Zamudio was partying at the guest house of his estate with cocaine and other drugs.
Ross is facing several charges including possession of a firearm while committing a crime, aggravated assault, aggravated batter, and kidnapping.
