PORTLAND, Ore. – Officers busted five suspected gang members with drugs and guns after pulling over two cars seen loitering in a restaurant parking lot near the Lloyd Center Mall, Portland Police said.
Police stopped the first car at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday after seeing it leave the restaurant at Northeast 10th Avenue and Broadway.
Officers had probable cause to search the vehicle, and said they ultimately found four guns and some cocaine inside. The three people inside the car were booked into the Multnomah County Jail on various drug and firearm charges.
The second vehicle was pulled over at North Flint Avenue and Broadway. Patrol officers had probable cause to cite the driver and tow the car, and found a handgun when doing an inventory of the car.
The driver and passenger, both convicted felons, were arrested on firearms charges.

21-year-old Ernest Isom was arrested for Possession of Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Firearm.
28-year-old Omare Ondra Matthews was arrested for Delivery of Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
28-year-old Ean Patrick Nissbett was arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Firearm.
Second traffic stop arrests:
31-year-old Jamaal Lambert, the passenger of the vehicle, was arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Firearm.
34-year-old Theophilus Adams, the driver of the vehicle, was arrested for Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Loaded Firearm.
