Forthcoming USA Network scripted TV drama Unsolved: The Murders of Biggie and Tupac has cast its two protagonists.
As Variety reports, Marc Rose, who played Tupac in Straight Outta Compton, will step into Shakur’s shoes once again, while newcomer Wavyy Jones will play The Notorious B.I.G.
The pair join previously announced actors Josh Duhamel, Jimmi Simpson and Bokeem Woodbine, who will all play detectives. No release date for the show has been confirmed as yet.
Tupac Shakur was shot and died aged 25 in LA in 1996, while Biggie Smalls, né Christopher Wallace, was shot and killed at 24 in LA six months later. Both murders remain unsolved.
