LOS ANGELES, CA — November 16th, 2015 – Today global icon and multiple GRAMMY® Award winner NE-YO revealed the launch of his new fall campaign which celebrates style while creating awareness and support for his non-profit the Compound Foundation. Through the campaign, fans can support the foundation’s mission of enhancing the quality of life and support for children in the foster care system.
Launched Nov. 9 across all digital and social platforms, the campaign is rooted in the same core values that NE-YO has always stood for over the past 8 years; utilizing his gifts and blessings to enhance and uplift the lives of children in need, specifically within the foster care system. This partnership can be found at: http://www.represent.com/compoundfoundation
NE-YO fans are encouraged to proudly wear a t-shirt designed by the recording artist himself. 100% of the proceeds from the shirt’s sales will go to Compound Foundation worthy initiatives and programs to support those in the foster care system. Proceeds will also be used to purchase new toys for children and teens during their 8th annual Giving Tour this holiday season.
“Finding your own version of ‘stylish change’ is an art – helping those among us in the most need, must become the new normal, and that’s the essence of the campaign,” said recording superstar, NE-YO. “This fall, we celebrate dressing for change.”
“We are inspired by the bold and honest spirit of the millennial generation; their authenticity is what makes them stand apart in today’s complex world,” said Compound Foundation Executive Director, Khalilah Abdul-Baqi. “Compound Foundation has always stood for individuality and the support of those in the foster care system. By challenging the idea of what it means to support, we hope to inspire confidence in everyone’s own personal style by wearing a t-shirt inspired by their favorite artist.”
The campaign features the signature NE-YO quote, “Music is a quiet place in a loud world,” and is proudly displayed on this limited edition t-shirt. T-shirts are available to fans and supporters, through November 22nd, at www.represent.com/compoundfoundation.
