New Jersey rapper-meets-crooner MoRuf has been delivering fresh offerings since the top of the year, including the vibrant visual for heavy percussion cut, “Tangerine/her.” Before closing out the year, the emerging artist unleashes the official music video for his latest single “Fallen,” off his Shades.Of.Moo LP. Accompanied with the track’s producer MeLo-X beat-sampling James Blake‘s “The Wilhelm Scream,” the ballad gives room for MoRuf to dive into themes of moving forward and pursuing dreams. The video is directed by BLVD Filmworks and captures the raw emotion of the track as MoRuf delivers an effortless rhythmic story line of endurance, all while the clip focuses on a young dancer’s desire to succeed.
MoRuf and Melo-X are currently working on an collaborative EP that is slated for delivery in 2015. Until then, peep the new video for bass-heavy track above.
