On King of Memphis, Young Dolph proves he can deliver a compelling full-length all on his own, shouldering the 11-track load without any guest rappers. Noisey, who debuted the album, says “King of Memphis is a solid debut album from one of the most quietly popular artists in the South right now, and it’s well worth your time.” Earlier this week, Dolph shared the album’s first video single, “Get Paid,” which depicted the hilarious scenario of him getting a court order to show a young man how to make an honest living. Dolph engaged his fanbase several days prior to the release, teasing the concept on Instagram, “whatever you do – don’t forget to get paid,” he tells the kid.
