MC Hammer says that the charges against him for obstruction have been dropped.
Last month we reported on an incident involving MC Hammer, in which he was stopped by the police and claimed to be a victim of racial profiling.
The veteran MC had been charged with obstructing an officer and resisting an officer in Dublin, California. MC Hammer vented about the incident on Twitter, claiming the police officer had asked him, “Are you on parole or probation?”
Now the rapper took to Twitter once again, this time to inform fans that all the charges have been dropped. See his tweet below.
No more details have been provided about the MC’s accusations against the police officer. The Dublin police have said that the rapper was not being racially profiled.
