What looked like a no show turned out to be a blessing in disguise when the Luniz (both Yukmouth andNumskull) called into the Murder Master Music Show to chop it up with hosts Prez and Mac Jay. The hosts chopped it up and played a good mix of music and was about to call it a night when first Yuk and then Num called in and the first Luniz interview in a while took place.
At 49:11 Yuk called in followed by Kumskull a few minutes later. It has been 20 years since the group dropped the classic “I Got 5 On It” which is still to this day played all over the world. They both had alot to say about the current state of hiphop, their upcoming project “High Times”, and of course they looked back on the classic Tone Capone produced smoker’s anthem with Michael Marshal on the hook “I Got 5 On It”. They also debuted the song “Still” which is a new Luniz track about how they still got respect and love for each other after all these years.
