Legendary and Grammy nominated winning rapper Kurupt of Tha Dogg Pound will perform a very rare all ages show at Jub Jubs on March 25th, 2017.
The rapper and former Vice President of Death Row Records are very busy touring with Snoop Dogg and rarely does shows in the northern Nevada area. Kurupt skyrocketed to fam in the early 1990’s as part of the Suge Knight run label along with: Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, Dr Dre, Warren G, Nate Dogg and others with hit songs like; “ain’t no fun”, “let’s play house”, “Cali iz Active” and many other hit songs. He also has starring roles in films such as the 2002 film with Kurt Russel and Ving Rhames “Dark Blue” in which Kurupt was given the principal villain role.
He is regarded as one of the top 5 rappers of all time even being mentioned as such in Eminem songs. In 1996 he recorded “what would u do” and was later nominated for a Grammy for the song. Kurupt will perform all of his hits live onstage on March 25th. Also performing will be Big Omeezy of E40’s Sik Wid It Records who is also the permanent hype man for rap icon E40. Omeezy will perform some of E40’s hit songs on the show as well as his own music.
Rounding out the super star show is Lil Nate Dogg who is the son of Grammy-nominated rap and R n B icon Nate Dogg, who will perform his fathers hits onstage. Fans of Nate Dogg have said that he is a split image of his father and has a similar voice. Onstage Nate sounds like his father and fans can experience what it’s like to hear and see Nate Dogg songs live. Hit songs like “21 Questions”, “Next Episode,” ” I can’t deny it,” “in the name of the streets,” “regulate” and much more will be performed life in their entirety.
