Today rising R&B/Pop talent Hannah Monds releases her single, “I Wanna Love You.”
Initially recorded and written by Hannah herself, the song features additional lyrics on the hook from artist/songwriter, Kes Kross. Additionally a trio of engineers and producers worked on this song to bring it to the final version that listeners will hear today.
Initially the track was produced by Tec Beatz and mixed and mastered by Yonni who previously worked with Justin Bieber, Trey Songz, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Missy Elliott, Nicki Minaj and 2Chainz.
Then “I Wanna Love You” got additional mixing and mastering by Jean Marie Horvat known for his work most recently on Rae Sremmurd’s “Powerglide.”
“We have a lot of feel good records on the EP – I think it will give listeners a refreshing vibe.” Hannah Monds said. “I wanted this record to showcases my falsetto over a retro but modern beat. Combining those elements together I think we have created a new sound with a fresh feeling.”
While the visual to “I Wanna Love You,” is in the final stages of production, fans can expect to see a visual recreation of the song in he coming weeks.
“In the visual I’m performing in downtown Los Angles on a roof top apartment while the city is sleeping. It’s a true performance and symbolically I’m hoping to wake the world up with my presence.”
Raised with a Southern upbringing by her single mother and grandparents in Nashville, Tennessee, Hannah Monds was inundated with a strong work ethic that was coupled with living in the entertainment capital of the South.
“Nashville also known as “Music City” is where I was raised so I was always drawn to big entertainers. From as young as I can remember,” Hannah Monds said. “I always looked up to artists like Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Aaliyah, Selena Quintanilla, JLO, and Missy Elliot. Their confidence and unique approach is something I’ve always connected with and aspired to embody. These ladies paved a way for me to be unapologetic in my music and as a performer”.
Previously Hannah Monds released her video for the song “Xmas” which received a lot of support from her fans, admirers helping her earn her way on to Apple’s Brown Sugar R&B playlist and Spotify’s Edge of House playlist.
