From the grimy streets of America to Oscars, Grammys, Platinum and Gold plaques. Prezident Bejda hosted the 50th Episode of the Murder Master Music Show on UGS Radio which has featured many of the game’s biggest legends and pioneers already, but Episode 50 was a 3 Hour special that brought out many heavy weights in the game.
The first legend to call in was Billboard Award winner and southern legend JT Money (Poison Clan). JT was on the road about to rock a show but found time to call in and represent for the show. From there several other legends came through. Prezident Bejda was joined by special Co-Host, Owensboro rhyme sayer Mac Mizzle.
Academy Award Winner Frayser Boy (Hustle & Flow) called in as well as Grammy Award Winner for his work on Dr. Dre’s Chronic, the legendary RBX. The show also received calls from G-Funk legend Kokane who chopped it up with Memphis Pioneer Gangsta Pat. The two discussed the influence of their Fathers who both were legends Jerry Long Sr (Motown), and drummer Willie Hall (Stax Records).
“It was amazing to hear two legends from different regions chop it up, but to hear about how both of their Fathers were on legendary labels like Stax and Motown was amazing.” Prez
Also on the show was the other original member of Poison Clan, Debonaire, Midwest flame spitter C-Mob, LA Legend Black Silver (Analogue Brothers with Ice-T, Kool Keith, etc), Atlanta rapid spitter T-Rock, and Compton OG Cuicide.
To top it all off the one and only Real Rick Ross came through to show his love for the Murder Master Music Show.
“First and foremost as a fan this was a dream. All of these people that came on the show tonight were and still are legendary. Even though I have been doing rap music journalism for over 15 years it still humbles me to see historic shit like this taking place. Who the fuck does this? I do it from a fans perspective because I will always be a fan of the music. Its time to take a stand and pay homage to these legends and pioneers. That is what we do over here at UGS and we will continue to so. UGS4LIFE” -Prez
