The 1992 rap group Penthouse Players Clique who was comprised of Tweed Cadillac and Playa Hamm. The two who hailed from South Central, LA. to be exact, made an impact on the game in the early stages of the Gangsta Rap era. Signing with Ruthless Records and the God Father of Reality Rap Eazy E. The two would became house hold names with their only release “Paid The Cost” produced by DJ Quik.
We caught up with the OG Tweed Cadillac who has been on a solo venture since the disbandment of the group. We got a chance to catch up with one of the Original Players on the West Coast and spoke about the Platinum selling album “Paid The Coast”, working with Compton producer DJ Quik and their recent appearance on TV One’s Unsung, his new album “N The Cut” and more.
