Sacramento rapper Lavish D is no stranger to local headlines news. Having been arrested for several charges stemming from firearm possession to probation violations. The artist really got the peoples attention last year, with his on going rap fued with Oakland rapper Philthy Rich and Sacramento native Mozzy.
After several diss records with accompanied video’s, Lavish D and his Bank’d Up crew caught an opposing rap rival in the the State Capitols “Arden Mall”. Although Lavish D never made an effort to physically harm anyone he did what most people do these days and that’s use their cell phones to document the altercation. After showcasing the incident on several social media sources, the Bank’d Up star and crew would end up fighting for their lives in the judicial system due to documenting his then current beef.
We caught up with the Sacramento rapper while serving a 6 year sentence in a California penitentiary, to discuss the events that led up to his incarceration, what has he learned from this experience and more.
