Continuing with our DJ Vladislav interview series from former VladTV employee, Michael Hughes, Hughes touched on Vlad & Mysonne’s relationship from years ago. According to Hughes, Vlad looked at Mysonne as more of a “Street bodyguard”, rather than the friend that Mysonne thought he was to Vlad. Hughes also discussed how Vlad turned down posting music from Hughes’ friend Marlon Craft, who managed to rise within the rap world off of his talent alone. Another notable name that Vlad turned down before her mega rise to fame, was Dej Loaf. Hughes also discussed Vlad’s “fining system” in depth, where DJ Vladislav would find ways to take away money from his employees often.
