Nobody is hustling quite like the new generation of Los Angeles rappers. Where DUBB is concerned, this is more specifically the case. DUBB’s affiliations, alone, show how much times have changed and hip hop has evolved. Among DUBB’s closest affiliates in the game are Coke Boy Brock and Droop Pop, New York artists.
DUBB has albums worth of collaborations with the Coke Boys, but he went solo on his newest release. Many of the mixtapes released from the “New West” have the same quality as most albums. Capitalizing off this, DUBB’s Black Box EP consists of ten tracks that are available for purchase.
Given the advantages of the internet, no longer does an artist or their team have to come off so much just to put a project out. While delivering one of the best street albums of the year, thus far, with Black Box, DUBB has kept the budget small. March 27 was the set release date for Black Box and it has been delivered, as promised.
