Following the breakout of “Juice,” which circled all over clubs during the second half of the year out in Los Angeles (as well solid radio rotation on REAL 92.3 and Power 106), Compton rapper AD is getting ready to release the follow-up to last year’s Blue:89. The first taste of the upcoming effort came in the form of the club oriented “Way Up” featuring IAMSU and now he is connecting with fellow Bompton rapper YG on the Sorry Jaynari-produced “Thug.”
The street certified record is the second single from By The Way, which is scheduled for release on June 10. The artists are very familiar with one another and have been long overdue for a collaboration, but finally collaborated after meeting in the studio to listen to YG’s album.
The video for the track is currently being shot and should be released soon.
