California artist Clyde Carson, creator of the every-city anthem “Slow Down,” will be joining southern artist Big K.R.I.T. and Harlem rapper Smoke DZA for eight West Coast dates on the King Remembered In Time Tour starting May 24th. Full list of tour dates below.
“I enjoy touring and interacting with fans,” states Carson. “Any opportunity I have to make that happen, I’m all for it. I appreciate Big K.R.I.T. extending the invite for the West Coast dates and look forward to performing familiar hits and introducing new ones.”
Clyde Carson’s smash single “Slow Down” made history in 2012 when it became the most played record of any year on Bay Area’s KMEL radio. The song hit #1 on Los Angeles’ rhythmic station Power 106 and became a top song in California, Arizona, Utah and Missouri. The music video, filmed in Carson’s hometown of Oakland, CA has garnered close to 3 million views on VEVO. Fans can hear “Slow Down” on the 2012 mixtape S.T.S.A. (Something To Speak About). Carson plans to follow up S.T.S.A. with the release of his Playboy album later this year. The first song from Playboy is the grown-and-sexy “Pour Up” produced by “Slow Down” collaborator Sho-Nuff.
