To celebrate the release of their remastered, re-mixed, and restructured two-part opus, ‘Gods in the Spirit, Titans in the Flesh,’ dynamic rap duo Blu & Nottz reveal the sleek new video for standout single, “Heaven on Earth.”
The visuals center on the rapping half of the tag team, Blu, who spends time spitting his well-traveled gospel in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. And he’s complemented not just be the fresh direction of The Infamous Oz, but also the sharp editing work of The Last American B-Boy and stylish animation of Unjust (for Elevation Nation Productions).
As a team, they bring even more life and color to Blu’s rhymes, which sound as potent as ever over Nottz’s contemplative instrumental. “Heaven On Earth” is, of course, one of many notable tracks on the rerelease of GITS,TITF, which now boasts new material and a new track list overseen by Blu himself.
This revamped take on the now full length release is without question the quintessential version of two smaller halves that were already dope, that now exists on an entirely new level.
