Big Trip is a fast-rising the new act with tremendous talent, appeal, and star power that fans can’t get enough of while he ascends. Continuing to capitalize on the popularity with his captivating music, he releases his latest track, and most vulnerable yet, in the Gabriel Eli-produced single “Just Bein Honest.” The revealing track follows the similar production of the 2000s clasicc “Drop It Like Its Hot” by Snoop Doog and Pharrell Williams.
“Just Bein Honest” showcases Big Trip’s crafty songwriting abilities over a experimental production. “I got in my bag on this track and wanted to create something that’s never been heard before,” said Big Trip. “I wanted every bar and every flow to showcase my ability with a unique beat. I crafted a vibe anyone can bop to while showing lyricists I can hang with the best.”
The Tennessee native is best known for supporting red-hot R&B artist Marc E. Bassy on his nationwide Nothin In This World tour. Along with Marc E. Bassy, Big Trip has share the stage with several hip hop heavyweights, including G Herbo and G-Eazy. Off the stage, the former athlete-turned-rap star’s music has occasionally hit the charts as his songs have debuted at #5 and #36 on the iTunes Hip-Hop chart and #105 on the Top 200. “Just Being Honest” sets up fans for the artist’s upcoming project, starring the new track.
