Raphelle Andrews born and raised in the Fillmore section of San Francisco, California. Raised by his maternal grandmother he was naturally a free spirited and independent child. A natural performer, Raphelle honed his performance chops through writing poetry and singing in his church choir. Identifying himself as a “radio baby”, Raphelle has loved music as far back as he can remember.
Known for his distinctive ‘twang and melodic rhythms, Raphelle relishes in the ability to transpose his experiences and the experiences of others through musical song. As a passionate and dedicated artist, Raphelle produces a niche sound as to avoid blending in with the masses. Raphelle cites his musical inspirations as R. Kelly, Wu Tang Clan and the group Blackstreet.
This week the young up and coming star has released his latest single “Like Mac Dre”, produced by the talented De’la. You may be familiar with the voice from his well received single “For The Kill” with Young California’s DJ ASAP, released just a couple of months ago.
