Audiomack, the digital streaming platform, and NYC-based recording studio releases its first recording project, Audiomack EP. Recorded exclusively at the Audiomack studio in NYC and executive produced by TGUT, the 8-track EP stands out for its star-studded features, which includes Slim Thug, Curren$y, Wifisfuneral and two-time Super Bowl Champ Ray Lewis. Established in 2012, Audiomack has distinguished itself as one of the leading independent, digital streaming platforms by providing artists, labels, producers and DJs with an easy way to freely distribute music without storage limits. The Audiomack office in New York City’s Noho district doubles as a fully-functional music studio where they provide the artists on the platform a space to create. To date, Audiomack boasts five million unique monthly users while accruing over 7 million app downloads. This growth has lead to the development of the Audiomack Monetization Platform (AMP) which, although still in beta invite only, has earned artists over $100k.
Last month, Audiomack released the project’s first single, Wifisfuneral’s “2MG” featuring Levi Carter. The track was praised as a “starry and hypnotic rap anthem” (The Fader) and quickly surpassed 100K online streams. The “2MG” release coincided with the launch of Audiomack’s fresh redesign, which was rebuilt using React and enables a fully-featured app-like experience for both desktop and mobile web.
