The Former “Put It in Your Mouth” Rap Star Refutes Claims the #1 Strip Club in the World Has Been Sold
MIAMI, FL–(Marketwired – Sep 5, 2014) – Businessman and creative visionary Akinyele sets the record straight amidst reports and rumors that his Miami Gentleman’s Club King of Diamonds (KOD), has been sold. Akinyele is the one and only owner of the world famous King of Diamonds — a title he has worked hard to claim at the iconic club that has become the “Cirque Du Soleil” of all strip clubs.
He says recent reports about KOD being sold to outside investors, are just not true and he’s rather offended that his ownership would be discredited due to his past career as a rapper. “Before I took over KOD I recognized how important it was and still is to keep the KOD legacy. I started from the ground up, working to make the vision I had for the club a reality, and eventually independently secured the necessary funding needed to completely purchase the building. I’m extremely hands-on as the owner of KOD because I’ve found a job that I love — it doesn’t feel like a day of work at all!” Akinyele explains.
The former rap artist rose to fame with his hit record “Put It In Your Mouth” back in 1996 and later switched gears to flourish into a prominent African-American businessman and entrepreneur in the adult entertainment industry. Akinyele has owned and/or partnered five other strip clubs across the nation, and taking the helm of Miami’s King of Diamonds was truly a dream come true. Akinyele used his business expertise and coveted industry connections to save and reload KOD — launching a massive makeover to reopen the club with a star-studded launch weekend last year.
“When I bought King of Diamonds I brought a vision and it was to create an even more comfortable, live and adult playground viewing party for every race, color and creed on the planet earth — with ties to Hip-Hop music and culture,” Akinyele says.
Now boasting a roster of over 150 of the hottest women, over 10 plush skyboxes, 30 private VIP suites, a new jewelry store featuring nothing but diamonds, a barber shop, fashion boutique, and upscale restaurant, along with the officialKOD Magazine launching later this year, Akinyele has restored KOD to its world dominating glory.
“Let’s face it, King of Diamonds is the playground for every amateur dancer who goes on to turn pro, and is the reason why tourists come and vacation in Miami to see the best exotic dancers in the world. KOD’s unprecedented adult entertainment experience is why the hottest rappers keep mentioning the club in record after record after record, because their visits to KOD are like no other,” assures Akinyele.
King of Diamonds is regularly visited by entertainment and sports elite including Diddy, Floyd Mayweather, Jr., Drake, Jim Jones, Future, Young Jeezy, Rihanna, Bow Wow, Birdman, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross to name a few, ultimately setting itself apart in an unparalleled league of its own.
