Around three minutes into the 30 minute video, gunshots begin to rang out, as the car was fired upon in an alley off South Kenneth in the Lawndale neighborhood.
Police confirms another vehicle pulled up, 1 gunman exited and opened fire. Several shots pierced the back windshield. Fatally wouding 2-year-old Lavontay White, who was hit in the head; he later died at the hospital.
The driver, Lavontay’s 4 month pregnant, 20-year-old aunt and her boyfriend were also hit. She and her unborn baby lived, but the boyfriend was pronounced dead on the scene.
