i just read sir dynos book in the midst of my confusion i have to give it up to the homie for choosing to do something that a loved 1 hasnt b4 and wrote a book and from what i have read it seems like he did it for educational purpose rather than money. much respect to him to those that havent read it i suggest it if you can find it. the book is about everything someone from a barrio could relate too and for those on who cant understand how or why a gang would start . its very easy to understand because i was into the story the whole time and couldnt take my eyes out of it once i started reading it. i know alot of gente might not feel him through his music or any other reason but aside from that this books says everything our people try to say in music but in the form of a book. if you see it somewhere grab it that book is helllla good homies.

while im on the subject of books we should start a thread on here for books so anyone on here thats read a good ass book we know we feel we could give a breakdown on it because the schools give some weak ass books to read to our younger homies in school i remember not being into anything at school because i couldnt relate well heres a chance to try to help our gente in 1 way u never know readin 1 book might change your whole outlook on life trust me i have.

suggested titles from perico lokz
author / title

che guevarra / guerrilla warfare
sir dyno / in the midst of my confusion
rodriguez / always running
donald goines / whoreson
nicky cruz / run baby run
hunter s. thompson / fear and loathing in las vegas

I do not read many books unfortunately. However, aside from a few punctuation and gramatical errors, I must say, the Dyno book is too sick. It's a little short, but it has a lot of meaning to it. Other books I have read that I will recommend:
George Collier/ Ya Basta!
Tom Hayden/The Zapatista Reader
William Douglas/Pancho Villa

Behold a Pale Horse by William Cooper looks interesting, but long as hell. Can someone give me the run-down of that book?

monster was a lotta bullshit....didnt dude claim he alone started the crips???? thas a lie....half the shit was fake.....but if you like fiction ill put in that category....next to some Steven King and Dean Coonts......and is Dynos book fiction or non fiction?????

if im a read gangsta type shit id prefer to read some real shit myself......UPRISE was a good book and had the realest shit ive seen published about the CRIP/BLOOD situation and the Riots that have taken place in LA....the CIA/FED involement in the gang wars and the introduction of Cracc cocaine in the 80's....all writtin by leaders of different setts including General Lee and a few other well known OG's....wit an intro from ICE T...... be on the lookout for X Raideds autobiography comin soon....if youve ever visted the Madman forum X is well writtin and im sure his book will be off the hook!....he workin on getting a publishing deal wit Time/Warner as of now.....

wino was right when he mentioned Villasenors books.....they are real good.....but long and you need to read em all to get the full story......but it kinda repeats shit in each book cuz the stories overlap.....good read nonetheless......

but yall need to peep The Atlantis Blueprint....too much for me to re post on that one....if you really interested peep the Illuminati and whatnot thread in this forum its vital so you can see it at the top of the threads....i already broke some of it down in there.....it changed my outlook on life like No Love said a book can do.....

Read Black House by Stephen King/Peter Straub and it's prequel Talisman, both are tripped out. Also I recommend anything by Dean Koontz, last two books I read by him are Strangers and Odd Thomas.
