xp-30 HELP!!!!

Hey yall-I just picked up a roland xp 30 but didn't get the manual.I already went to the roland website and you can't get it there unless you order it and it takes 4 weeks to come.In the mean time can someone just tell me how to set it up to send and receive on separate midi channels.I'm using my MPC to sequence.Any help would be great.THANX

It it in performance mode.

Thanx for the replies-I put it in performance mode and figured out how to change the parts.Then I played with the edit menus and set up the system to receive and send midi.Then last there is a switch on the back of the board for transmitting midi or to PC.It works now.
