change (update) the billing address or the spelling of your name so that it doesn't match your CC's real info. That way when they try to charge you ...it won't go through. Assuming that's what you are trying to accomplish!

People can easily use your card to buy MS points... I've seen it happen to others before.

^ yea thats safe thats what i did i just deleted my online gamer tag then sold it.. ms kept sending me e-mails about how its not hooked up..so that means ur not paying obviously.
