JL...always knock JL....shit always sounds clean....shit i've had W3's. and the w3v2's. and I 've had the W6v2's...

It may be hella expensive but it has good Sound Quality... a lotta these other brands got SPL but ain't soundin clean....

^^^yup i fuck with the jl 2 12" w3 in a custom box.....2000 watt amps pushing um......i forgot the name brand of the amps (1 1200, and one 800), but my shit hits hard, and really clean as well, you can actually hear the song when i thumping down the road

I got two 12 inch Infinity speakers with an amp that i cannot remember the name of now but it aint nothing special.....that shit sound cool though....and I hook up my I pod and bump that shit all day long

i fucks with JL w3v4 (pretty sure) they gettin old now and i think my amp is faulty, i got the good speakers but a decent amp. JBL 600-1 and i think its givin out on me, subs go on and off when im driving, mostly off.
so i gotta get in there and check it out. fuckin sucks

check your fuse comin off the battery, might have rattled a screw out and it might be loose....

2 lightning audio subs from wal mart and a 600 watt mono block 2 ohm bazooka amp....go ahead laugh but it fuckin slumps...lightning audio's are WAY under rated...can't go wrong for 40 bucks a sub..straight sealed box
