RED BLUFF — Tehama County sheriff’s deputies arrested an Orland man Tuesday night after a rancher reported seeing him in his horse pasture wearing only a flannel shirt and an electronic monitoring device on his ankle.
The rancher called deputies at about 7:30 p.m. and told them he had seen Ronald Marion Guest, 42, who lives nearby, half naked in the pasture, sheriff’s deputies said today.
Guest ran away when deputies arrived, but was later found hiding in bushes, deputies said.
Guest is on parole and is a registered sex offender, they said.
California's Megan's Law Web site shows that he was convicted of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 and indecent exposure.
He was booked at Tehama County Jail on suspicion of indecent exposure, resisting arrest, trespassing and violating parole.
