Who should Manny Pacquiao fight next?

See, is it that hard to accept an offer to fight someone? Every single person in boxing signs on the dotted line as soon as something good comes along, except for bitch boy. Which is fine, that's cool. You don't have to fight anyone you don't have to, but don't act like you're the best in the world.
If you want to punk out just admit it. "I don't think I will win". Why fight someone just to lose? That's humanly understandable. Yet, to make excuse after excuse is just pathetic.
Finally we can stop talking about it. Looks like Manny will be fighting Marquez in November. Floyd fans can take the back seat for another year sucking their thumbs.

I agree he is also my favorite boxer! The first fight could've gone either way but the 2nd fight Marquez won it, NO DOUBT about it.

Seriously though Marquez (beside Morales 1st fight) is the only one to beat Manny, and he can do it again he's smart, quick, can recover fast and most importantly has HEART!

pac usually always uses great lateral movement but he didnt against shane for some reason, he said after the fight he had some problem with his left leg. after the 5th round buboy says to ariza to work his legs which he does, so there is probably truth to that. normally pac has excellent footwork but against shane he fought pretty much in a straight line.
Marquez, but I don't like the catchweight. He's the lightweight champion of the world, so what would be more impressive than going down to 135 and taking his titles. Wishful thinking because this would never happen in reality...(even though I'm sure Pacquiao could still make 135 without problem.)
So being realistic Marquez at 140. I think he's already shown he is ineffective at 145, he looked a bit fat and sluggish against Floyd.
That being said, it looks like this will be at 145. I definitely like Marquez best of the choices, he already has 2 epic battles with Pac and both have been on impressive runs since they fought last, plus he's still the best fighter being mentioned as a possible opponent.

^^Pac is the #1 p4p fighter so it would only make sense that Marquez challenges Pac for Pac's titles, not the other way around. 140 wouldn't be bad, problem though is there wouldn't be a title on the line.
But 145 should be fine. They will weigh virtually the same on fight night. JMM's last fight against Katsidis, he weighed 148 pounds on fight night. Pac will weigh right around that on fight night. If I were marquez I'd come in light, like 142. Shouldn't make a difference.

I don't get it, you co-sign that weak opinion piece saying pac only fights one style of fighter, and yet you want him to fight that same style again? Maidana is a come forward, no technique face first brawler. Easy and short fight for Pac.

Maidana would come to fight/win period. He's still young and he's not a shot fighter with no reflexes. He's not going to cover up and then touch gloves every round.
I think at this point in Marquez's career carrying the extra weight at his age and fighting against a prime Pacquiao won't do him any good. If he couldn't beat him back in the early-mid 2000's, I don't think he'll be able to come close to beating Pacquiao. Marquez is the safest choice for Pacquiao right now.
