do any of you care about the security that websites use that you may buy stuff from? for example hacker safe? i see that shit all over the place .. any of you pay attention to that?

I never enter personal information like a Social or anything. If I buy stuff online from a site that I haven't bought from before or are kinda skeptical about, I'll use my PayPal account that's not tied to my primary bank checking account. As far as the HackerSafe or Versign logos, I think anyone can probably slap one of those on their websites, but generally, my stupid ass does feel safer on there. I also have AVG scan the sites prior to me actually visiting them.

NOT ALL THOSE HACKER SAFE LOGOS ARE LEGIT THOUGH. IF YOU CLICK ON IT AND IT DOESNT DIRECT YOU TO THEIR SITE AND SHOW THE NAME OF THAT SITE, ITS NOT REAL

that's my point, tho. I don't think thta it's always legit. Like I said, probably anyone can slap one of those on their website. Doesn't make it true. In some cases, it's probably more suspect.
