ok, so this game is going into open beta in a month, meaning anyone can play (well, if your computer can support it, and it doesn't take a monster rig to play it. just decent, atleast). just a heads up to whoever is interested.

not bad for a free game, but it looks like a wow/ninja gaiden mix with limited combat options

its PRACTICALLY unlimited. you can use atleast 90% of your surroundings, and this game is more of a combo, hack-n-slash. in the video, they dont really show the clean movements of a full combo connecting with the "special" moves.

i played it already, its pretty clean. you can also use your xbox 360 or ps3 controller made for the pc.

I saw a video of it yesterday, they did the whole first level killing the big spider. It looks a bit clunky, the mobs where just standing there and not even trying to kill the person playing the game.

cool, but that makes like 3 of us that i know of.

if you do try that game, you might be surprised at the gameplay. if you are talking about the choppiness that i think youre talking about, that character is really slow and meant to be. why they made it that way, i dont know why. it does bug me how it looks, too. the other character doesnt play like that.

I watched about 25 minutes of gameplay though, it really doesn't interest me tbh even though I don't mind the mmorpg genre.

I'm really waiting for black ops with dedicated servers in november, I'm strung out for a decent fps again like its crack lol.

well...then...thats cool if you put some research to it and then still say no. hopefully this game will be a time killer when need be.

havent played any FPS' that have caught my attention (new ones) in the past few years.

Well MW2 would of been good but they fucked us with no dedicated servers (even though we birthed the fps genre and CoD franchise)

but yeah, Black ops looks decent and it will have dedicated servers

TBH though, there really isnt much out unless you play Starcraft 2. I usually play madden or fifa on xbox because of no fps games on pc worth a shit.
