A.R.A.B. x Andre Nickatina in San Jose, CA
Since January, A.R.A.B. has definitely hit the ground running in 2010, and February has proved to be even more successful. Within a week of releasing the 1st single off of The Trojan Horse, “Livin the Life”, A.R.A.B. was confirmed as an opening act for well known San Francisco artist Andre Nickatina. With the sponsorship and support of Revolutionary Me Clothing and DJ Maniakal, A.R.A.B. will be opening for Andre Nickatina at Toons Night Club in San Jose, CA on Friday, February 26, 2010.
Andre Nickatina has been making music in the Bay Area and across the globe since 1993. After years of successful releases and changes within his camp, he became more well known in the West Coast underground rap scene. The album, The Gift, got the newspaper SF Weekly to name Nickatina the "Best Local Hip Hop Legend" of that year. In 2008, he released A Tale of Two Andres with Mac Dre and has continued to drop dope projects consistently all the way through 2010.
This is a major step in A.R.A.B.’s career. It is undeniably a sign that First Dirt is making moves in the industry. The show starts at 9:30pm at Toons Night Club on 52 East Santa Clara Street in San Jose, CA. It is a 21 and over event. First Dirt Republic has pre-sale tickets available.
