LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles police are looking for two men who beat and critically injured a San Francisco Giants fan in the Dodger Stadium parking lot after the opening day game.

Sgt. Sanford Rosenberg says two men in Dodgers clothing followed three men in Giants gear as they walked to their car after Thursday night's 2-1 Dodger victory.

Rosenberg says the attackers yelled slurs against the Giants and began kicking and punching the men.

One victim suffered a head injury and was hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Rosenberg says the injury is not life-threatening.

"It is extremely unfortunate that this incident took place on what was otherwise a great day at Dodger Stadium for tens of thousands of fans," the Dodgers said in a statement. "We're committed to having the most fan and family friendly environment in baseball and will continue to make that a top priority. We are cooperating fully with authorities during their investigation and we wish this fan a speedy recovery."

Investigators don't have the identities of the suspects and are asking anyone with information on the attack to call police.

FUCK THE DODGERS!!! BITTER FAGGOTS GOT SAND ON THEIR PUSSIES!! WE THE CHAMPS WE THE BEST!

The Giants are reaching out to the fan who is fighting for his life following a brutal beating in the Dodger Stadium parking lot after Thursday’s season opener.

The entire Giants roster signed a jersey for Bryan Stow, a 41-year-old paramedic and father of two from Santa Cruz, who was sucker punched, fell and hit his head against the pavement. Stow attended the game with friends, all of whom were wearing Giants gear. His two assailants, one of whom was wearing a Dodgers jersey, then proceeded to kick him multiple times. As the Santa Cruz Sentinel reported, Stow was put in a medically induced coma in the hopes his brain swelling will go down.

The Giants will give Stow the lineup card from Friday night’s game. Club president Larry Baer plans to visit him in the hospital Saturday; it’s a day game, so players weren’t expected to accompany Baer to the hospital. They were shocked to hear about what transpired, though.

“Terrible,” Tim Lincecum said, shaking his head.

“We’re starting another great season and it’s so disheartening to hear that something like this took place,” Giants spokesperson Jim Moorehead said. “Our fans have shown such great enthusiasm. We really appreciate what they mean to us and we wanted to show our support. We hope everything turns out OK.”
