Yall think that's intellectual hip hop? Damn, you must not have heard any of those artist's shit. That shit is straight about dope beats. I mean, People under the stairs about intellectual hip hop??? Quasimoto? What the fuck have yall been listening to? The only people that have the dope rhymes out of the artists listed would be cannibal ox and busdriver. And they definitely aren't about breathing air in space and shit. Cannibal Ox has some of the sickest beats I've ever heard. Their lyrics too, damn

Silver, if you like that song, you should pick up their album, called "the cold vein". It's one of my top 10 favorite albums.
Also, the production was done by a producer/rapper/label ceo named El-P (formerly of Company Flow). He owns the label Def Jux, which dropped the cannibal ox LP, and he also produced every beat on their album. He has his own album called "Fantastic Damage" that's off the hook too.

A homey told me to pick up his album, but I never got it. After I heard him on this Tony Hawk game I might have to check him out. His voice kind of sounds like Gift of Gab from Blackalicious, and the muthafucka spits HELLA fast through the whole track. The beat was kind of stupid, sounded like one of those Nickatina beats that sample classical music, but not as tight. But the muthafucka can spit.
