lol.
these same people LOOOOVED government from 2001 - 2008.

Fucking uneducated rednecks
Nope, we loved how Bush went after terrorists.

Bush did a lot of fucked up shit BUT he didn't do crazy shit like Obama who which I might add wouldn't dream of doing ANYTHING about 9/11 because the bastard is in Jimmy Carters mold.

Furthermore, "uneducated" shouldn't even be a fucking word. If you're not a vegetable then your educated in some way so you cant really be "uneducated." Hence calling someone "uneducated" would be like calling Hugh Hefner a fag.

The Clinton administration wanted to take out Iraq but didn't have much support.
Didn't Dick Cheney, when he was working in the private sector, want sanctions lifted on Iraq so his company could do business with them.

You don't know how Obama would have reacted to 9/11 so what's the point of assuming?

The reality is, that people don't mind the president take advantage of the executive privilege. Unless the president is from the other party. Than it's "He's crazy! He's Hitler! 1984!"

Wouldn't Bush passing the bank bail out be viewed as socialist behavior? Not nearly as many people in the media were branding him a socialist though. I think only Michael Savage and Laura Ingrahm.

going after terrorists = government

Bush didnt do crazy shit? You mean like start an unecessary war or cause the economy to collapse?
Obama hasnt done anything major yet, other than the stimulus package (which worked by the way)

its a proven fact that liberals are more educated than conservatives.

Tea parties attract the least educated wing of the conservative "movement"

The VAST MAJORITY of these people are blue collar white people

this is why i referred to them as uneducated rednecks

I was taking issue with the logical fallacy of composition you committed generalizing that "all these people loved government from 2001-2008' when you have absolutely no proof, you and I both know it's not true and you have no way of proving its true.

That is why I linked you to a definition of the logical fallacy of composition so you wouldn't make the same mistake in the future.

Ya and Obama still hasnt left iraq or expanding the war in afghanistan wasting more money :ermm:

The stimulus package wont last for very long, you never know, the economy could collapse in a couple months, again.

BTW we Americans have to pay back the stimulus package, through taxes, of course...

ok so what youre saying is... every statement meant to be funny and venomous needs to be backed up with cold hard facts? You do know this is the siccness right?
And yes, the people seen had tea parties AS A WHOLE were silent about the strength of government during the bush years. Republicans absolutely looooved the patriot act. http://abcnews.go.com/US/PollVault/story?id=833703
Sure, they said the occasional "Bush grew the government too much" in passing, during the last few years of bush's presidency, but these gripes were mainly meant to make themselves look somewhat sane since their can-do-no-wrong president had a 29% approval

Just like liberals hated Bush for the Patriot Act, taking away freedoms, etc. But when Obama becomes president and continues alot of the the same policies you hardly hear a peep.

Kind of like how liberals complain that Republicans are for the corporations but then both parties support bailout out the big banks and the CEO's.

And kind of like how conservatives don't like gun control because it takes away their rights but happily agree to the Patriot act.

As long as your party is in power it's okay to turn a blind eye basically.

nah, its it that. Liberals dont get mad (some are upset actually) that obama continued the patriot act because we know that it would be political suicide if he didnt.
Plus, the main reason we were upset about the patriot act was because it was right after we saw the dark side of bush/cheney, with bloodlust in their eyes...we dont have to worry about that now

With that kind of logic, you'll always have an excuse.

The Patriot Act proposal was to take away our rights and liberties in the name of protecting us against terrorism. Nevermind the fact that the FBI ignored warnings by their own people about 9/11:

Russ Feingold (D) opposed it, but EVERYONE else in the Senate, Republican and Democrat voted yes on it.
In the House 145 Democrats voted for it, 62 against.

Then after people see "the dark side of Bush/Cheney" they still voted to re-authorize it in 2006.
Only 8 Democrat Senators voted AGAINST re-authorizing it. Obama wasn't one of them.

When the telecoms were illegally wire tapping American citizens, congress decided to grant them immunity, despite the Democrats having the majority.
Again, Obama voted the way Bush/Cheney wanted.

Remember Bush/Cheney holding people "suspected" of being terrorists indefinitely without right to a fair trial? Obama wants to continue that as well.

Instead of people doing their part, they'd rather just sit back and keep thinking that the president will take care of them.

This may be difficult for you to comprehend, but after a war has been going on for 5 plus years, you can just pull all of the troops out of that country in a matter of months. Doesnt work that way, chief.

The stimulus package wont last for very long, you never know, the economy could collapse in a couple months, again.

or... buy cutting unnecessary spending? Do you have any idea how much Bush ran the deficit up? You do know Clinton handed him a surplus right?

You think Obama wanted to bail them out? You think when he considered running for president, he thought, 'boy I hope bush and the republicans fuck the economy up so bad, that I have to spend close to a trillion dollars to bail out these retarded corporations that were being encouraged by conservative policies in order to prevent mass unemployment and a possible economic collapse'??

No one was happy about the "bailouts". I dont think any liberal WANTED it to happen. It had to happen. Because of who?
