How many feel we are in an era of too much music?

I feel we are. When a CD is dope. We bump it for a week, a month at most, then it's on to the next thing. When we were young, we'd get a new CD by an artist once every few years so when something was dope, it stayed in rotation much longer. We also didn't have the internet the way it is now so our exposure relied on magazines, compilations, and word of mouth.
