I think most of us on this board believe or predict that tech n9ne will blow the fuck up. He has the style, talant and "MTV" appeal that America will love. The big question is, how will Tech himself handle it?

I personally love Techs music. I think that tech is one of the best if not the best rapper in the industry today. The only thing Im worried about is if he does get famous, will he sell out like most of the others?

The reason Im bringing this up is I have loved many rappers in the past that I thought were the shit, but once the money and fame came, they started acting like bitches. I can only hope tech wont do the same.

Honestly, I doubt that tech would change. I think hes hella original and different from the rest. But still, I have that fear that he might one day become to large and sell out. I've never met the man, so there is no possible way I would know.

Whats yall thoughts?

P.S
This is a drunken post, so dont hate!

eh; lets just hope we never have to worry about that; seeing as I am against radio play; and to an extent video play as well; (I'm straight with BET or M2/Box); but I'm against any Tech video play on MTV; fuck empty v, again a personal opinion of mine. I just wouldn't agree with how the radio or empty v will play the fuck outta Tech if he ever DOES attempt what I'd like to call "career suicide". I just hope Tech is smarter than that and plays his cards right over the next decade; you have no idea if he plans his route carefully; in the end he could end up with a large dedicated fanbase BUT if you want to favor empty v and hope for the best with the (bump your shit this summer; fuck you next year though) bandwaggon riders then feel free to do so, just not something I'd want for Tech

Nah... never...

The dude is too cool and too down to earth to sell out........(although i think that people use that term a little loosely.. almost as loosely as "dick rider"...)

For real, though.... the man has been bobbin and weavin for 16 years tryin to make it... ... ... he knows his roots and where he came from... Gonna be a down cat forever!

You find that people gain fame in 1 of 2 ways:
1: They blow up quick and it takes them years to deal with the change.
2: It takes them years to blow and by the time they do they've learned that fame isn't real and stay cool.

Tech is #2
