All teams match up differently and obviously Seattle is going to play better against S.F's defense since it was the third time they got to see them this year. Even with that being said, I wasn't impressed with Seattle's offense in the championship game. Jack Del Rio will be ready with a great defensive scheme in the big upcoming game.

I also think Seattle is going to have a rough time with Denver's offense. What would you play against the Bronco's offense? Man coverage, Bump and Run Man, Umbrella, etc? That's a tricky question, because Manning always picks apart zone defenses and seems to throw perfect, pin-point, accurate passes against man defense.
Seattle and Denver matched up in preseason. Hawks frustrated Manning big time. Sure, it was preseason, but at least its something. So technically, we have already seen a preview.

Seattle played NO twice this year. Denver was the #1 offense, NO was the #4. So yes, we have.

BTW, KC ended up with the 24th "best" defense in the NFL. Manning already got a preview of the LOB in preseason.

Seattle won't change a thing they will run man to man coverage the vast majority of the game. They have the secondary to do it. Manning can have his best success on short routes I believe. Try to get some mismatches WR on LB across the middle that type of stuff.

what worries me about this is the guys we send across middle are decker and welker...they cant take a hit like seattle can lay. I do think though, playing man to man as a whole denver will have the better advantage, its how well can denver def stop lynch and contain russell that will be the difference in the game

Idk to me I've always seen Manning pick apart zone defenses. He finds the holes, or knows exactly where the holes will be. With a physical man to man coverage that disrupts routes that means routes take longer to develop, gives more time for the d line to hit Manning, forces mistakes.

I do agree the running game of Seattle is huge. Obviously for any team the goal is to keep Manning off the field

I agree. Fuck zone coverage unless it's disguised with some exotic blitzes once in awhile. They do need to play "Bump and Run" man coverage to have a chance in stopping Manning. The only question will be, "How will the corners shade Decker, Welker and Thomas? When they chuck them at LOS, will they leave them the out route, inside slant, etc?"

Then there is the headache of when Manning see's single coverage against an aggressive Cover 1 or even GAM defense that I have seen Seattle use once in awhile. You have to worry about Slugo's, Verticals, Flag routes (corner) and all that other shit.

Seeing the regular season's #1 offense versus the regular season's #1 defense will make this Super Bowl even more exciting. I just hope they let them play and quit calling all these sissy penalties that favor the offense nowadays.

Seattle will win... I though the winner of sea vs sf would win the SB, two best well rounded teams. Denver is all offense
Denver has had the best Defense in this year's postseason. That's why I have been giving Jack Del Rio so much credit. After all the injuries the Bronco's defense has suffered this year, he has them playing at such a high level. They have stopped the run better than any other team in these playoffs. Everyone knows it's the team who gets on a roll in the playoffs that ends up winning the Super Bowl. Their defense is what is going to make the difference in this game.

He backed off in the 4th quarter because he didnt want his guys gettin more banged up then they already got. Most the time a denver player on defense went down was because of contact with a team mate goin after the ball carrier.
Yeah, I normally don't like that "Andy Reid" type of thinking, but Denver gets a pass under these circumstances. I understand in this case because Denver was plagued by injuries this year on defense. Even Tom Brady said (yesterday after the game) that he noticed there were six new starters on defense from when they played them earlier in the year. Their new postseason defense has played vicious so far and #1 at stopping the run.

LOL Oregon is only representing because Seahawks are in the NW. Other wise Oregon is full of 49er, Raider, Bronco, and any other team out there. As far as Football we care about Ducks and Beavers.
I bet there will be a lot more seahawks jerseys seen in oregon once the seahawks win the superb owl

Those east coast blue states are obviously new englanders looking to see manning get served up lol
