The event precedes Saturday's Showtime-televised Strikeforce event at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, which features a headline bout between Robbie Lawler and Jake Shields (at 182 pounds) and a talent-laden main card including Andrei Arlovski vs. Brett Rogers, among others.
