im lookin to get a new cd for my car, something in the 250 range, any recommendations i want to be able to use my 80 gb zube . it will be hooked up to 2, 6.5s and 1 6x9 (other one broke) and 2 12s hooked up to and 800 mono d block amp
There are a decent amount of units you can get that are compadable with your zune utilizing the headset jack to AUX port on the back of the head unit(cd player) However if you want something that is going to display the zunes controls on the cd player im afraid not much is out there besides Fords Sync software.(Click here for details)
Here is a Pioneer DEHP600UB deck that is only $170.00 with AUX ports on the back. Then you could just do what I did for my IPOD and purchase some 2.5mm to RCA adapter cables and run them from the back of the deck to your Zune and your golden.

so most decks only let u use an ipod? im about to get an i phone 16gb, do decks let you play thru ur phone?. any good decks that have a Usb and aux in the front?
"if you want something that is going to display the zunes controls on the cd player"
i dont really care about that so much
A lot of decks have aux on the front and a few have usb on the front. If you get a deck that works with an Ipod it should work with your phone but you should check that people have done it just to be sure. My brother and I both had the Pioneer DEH-P5900IB and he used it with his Iphone without a problem.
^^^one of my favorite pioneer decks although DEH-P9800BT is my all time favorite. Also you have to be careful with this cause the iphone can be tricky to work with. Alot of decks now are putting the AUX on the rear of the deck and you have to be careful because they will claim the deck has an AUX input but are referring to the RCA AUX input and not a 2.5mm input. Good to verify if it has both. Like i stated you can use the RCA one with an adapter its just a bit more of a pain to do. and to answer your question, yes most decks right now are only IPOD friendly since the zune has not been out for very long retail companys are not up on the ZUNE yet.
