i got mine from ebay. 80 gb for 300 bucks perfect condition but used but not noticeable at all.

you just need to choose wisely and do some research before you buy.

i wouldnt.... i dont know how the warranty works but just incase something does happen to it and you have to send it in...

oh yeah...

but if I were to get ripped off on craigslist, I'd probably have a more difficult time filing a claim since its not as structured as ebay.

I got a used PS3 in pretty good condition for $360. It was the 40gb, and it came with a 20month best buy warranty and a monster HDMI cable (retails for $99.99). On top of that, I had 30% off using microsoft's live.com search and got cash back (3 month process). After the discount I paid $250. Make sure to tell the seller to put fragile on the box or they'll toss it around it like shit, my seller forgot and I heard the UPS guy drop the box like a ton of bricks on my porch. Shit still works though and I have the warranty....
