That drive was legendary we'll see it on NFL films for years to come. The Wilson / Baldwin connection is becoming legendary as well. How many clutch games like that did they put it away basically themselves? Can't forget about Kearse he's always there for the critical third down conversions at the most critical times. This time it was Jimmy Graham with a critical third down conversion; it'll be cool to have him into the mix this year. Even made arguably the greatest catch in NFL history during the Superbowl that Bevell blew

Yeah yeah the o-line is fucking terrible, what else is new. They're either going to get it together or Wilson's going to get hurt again and it'll be the season, fuck it. I can't change it I'm done stressing about it

Wilson is a God, TD drive with a broken ankle, puts his health aside for his team and children with cancer.
He'll probably absorb the souls of 3-5 dying sick children directly into his ankle tonight, for sure, and be not only back to 100% but maybe 125%.

I wonder what they do with the shriveled husks of all those cancer kids he absorbs the life force from? I'd imagine they'd be bone dry probably cut them into dry chunks to start BBQ's or fireplaces with

That's why he spends so much time there, these kids have nothing might as well give their souls to God-Wilson. Hundreds of kids, man, if not thousands.

RUSS-ELL WIL-SON! RUSS-ELL WIL-SON!

The legend grows
(On how his ankle is feeling…) “It’s a little sore, but I’ll be alright, with a little ice and a little prayer, some treatment. We had to do whatever it takes to win, and we were able to do that. The offensive line did a great job tonight. I think we had three sacks, and I’ll have to look at it, but I think two of them were my trying to get out and run and not get any yards. I thought the line did a great job, they gave me time. The receivers did a phenomenal job, they were on it. It was exciting to see Jimmy Graham get back in there, and make that big time catch when we really, really needed it. He did it just right. That’s why that makes him one of the best tight ends in the game. He just knows what he’s doing. Everybody played at such a high level when we really needed to, and Thomas Rawls got back in there, it was great to see him running the football well. And C-Mike ran the ball really well, too. It was a complete team effort, and the defense was lights out today, as always. We believe in those guys, we trust those guys, they trust us, and that’s what it’s about and that’s what championship teams do. We just take one game at a time, one day at a time and hopefully let it build up and see how far we can go. It’s just one game, but it’s a good thing to win the first one.”

He has a good point. With Ifedi out and all those massive dudes on the Dolphins D-Line which is their strength, it's surprising the line gave him enough time to pass it a career record 26 times in the first half. It's mind boggling he passed it that many times though, i think our first two series were entirely all passes. Does Bevell not know who we are at this point, STILL? lol what the fuck. No wonder we couldn't get the run game going we only called 30 run plays total and the majority were after we had already established our offensive coordinator thought we were the New Orleans Saints this game. It became obvious and predictable once again

I don't think Bevell is capable of playing to our strengths and I don't think he understands the team. He makes it extremely difficult for them considering pass blocking is our biggest weakness, then formulates a game plan that's nearly all passing, like what the fuck? Is he trying to see them fail or see tom cable get hate or get wilson hurt to prove sone kind of point?

There's a clear reason all our other coaches moved to head coaching jobs elsewhere, but not this fuck

It was the first game with Rawls and Graham only supposed to get limited touches, so that's why Wilson had to pass more. I expect far more running in weeks to come. Because Rawls wasn't 100℅ ready, or I should say the coach planned on him getting limited touches, they had to rely far more on passing. Next week Rawls will get a lot more.
Agree and feel that the article was half assed and short sighted for all the stats they threw in there. Whoever wrote that has no idea what is going on with the Hawks apparently.

That's what I was I thinking. I thought all those stats he was tossing out meant literally jack shit.

Regarding Wilson's injury, that was kind of a freak thing, literally could happen on any given play (dude accidentally steps on your foot/heal). You could have the best offense in the world and that could happen.

Russ has a sprained ankle...hell be fine.
Fasho fasho. But I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried about this rams game. Their defense always got our number, worried about the oline getting destroyed. I originally dotted this down as a win cuz I wasn't sure about their QB, I'm leaning towards a loss now.

No. Suh plays with no regard for player safety and has repeatedly put QB's at risk by doing this exact same thing. He didn't set out to stomp his ankle but he certainly made no effort at all to avoid it and possibly even put him self in position for that to happen "accidentally". With Suh he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt
