without his contributions tha game isnt tha same today....RIP

I know Al Davis has big love for Don Coryell. His game had a lot to do with Coryell's philosophies.

RIP Don.... He helped shape and mold Joe Gibbs into a hall of fame coach for the Redskins! For that I respect Coryell and the philosophies he instilled into the game of football

Many of today's offensive schemes were taken from air coryell in one way or another. RIP-And the lack of pub is probably due to the fact that he coached on the west coast. Pro and college, he is the only one to win over 100 games in both. Another reason could be that he never won a super bowl, it wasn't cause of offense though. The bolts had no defense during his era
